Despite being on summer break, 350 rising juniors attended the Advanced Studies Summer Symposium.
The day-long event at the Winter Park Event Center featured 30 different vendors that represented a variety of programs ranging from colleges, student organizations, advanced studies programs and financial aid. The symposium provided an opportunity for students to jump start their post-high school planning and helped them navigate the tricky road of the college application process.
In an effort to lead students to success, OCPS wants students to know it is never too early to think about college or post-secondary options.
